General Care & Cleaning of Bath & Shower Enclosures

All of us at Willow-Ridge Glass, Inc. want our customers to experience years of enjoyment using our quality bath enclosures. In order to answer the inevitable questions concerning the care and cleaning of our enclosures, we have developed this General Cleaning Guide.

NOTE: This is a general care & cleaning guide. If your shower enclosure has a surface protection coating, there may be manufacturer specific care & cleaning instructions that you must follow as to not void the warranty. See your Guidelines & Warranty Information sheet given to you on the day of installation, or contact your sales representative.

The safest way to insure that your bath enclosure stays looking new and spotless is through adopting a daily regimen of rinsing the enclosure with clean water and then wiping the metal and glass after each use with a non-abrasive dry cloth or squeegee. By doing this, you will remove residue from the enclosure, and water spots will be kept to a minimum.

The Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association (BEMA) recommends the use of Lysol Bathroom Cleaner for glass and metal enclosures. Through independent testing sponsored by BEMA, Lysol Bathroom Cleaner earned the best overall rating for both gentleness and effectiveness. See the complete result of BEMA’s latest testing which was completed in April 2006. Always use a soft, clean rag or sponge.
